The
Bok's Nasal Splint is designed according to
the actual needs of patients with cleft lips or palate. There are
twelve sizes available which meet the needs of all ages. Our products
have already obtained the patent registration of exterior design in
China and Hong Kong
Cleft lip patients suffer from a split between the lip and nose
would lead to the collapse in the sesamoid cartilage and eventually
nose flattening. This condition greatly affects the facial appearance
of the patient. Correction could only be achieved over time, however,
the use of nasal splint can facilitate the support and modeling of
the nasal soft tissue of the patient before surgery, as well as helping
to prevent nostril shape distortion or collapse after surgery.
The nasal splint effectively improves the appearance and corrects
the deformity caused by cleft palate and maintains the nasal contour
following surgery. In addition, it also improves the appearance and
self-confidence, which are of enormous help to patients. However,
the use of overseas design has the problems of fitting the Chinese
nasal contour and securing the splint in place especially in infants.
The Bok's design offers a safe, more comfortable
and non-slippery way of wearing. It is shown from the comments of
the members of the Hong Kong Association for Cleft Lip and Palate
that the results after wearing were positive and effective.
Our products employ the computer 3D-reading for its design. The
main material of the splint is made up of silicone gel produced by
a famous German company, which has been established since 1949. This
raw material is certified by the internationally recognized standard,
which guarantees the quality of our products. They are proven to be
biocompatibility non-irritating, non-toxic, easy to clean, soft, durable,
safe and reliable. The materials can be treated under high temperature
sterilization. |
